It'sa couple of years since I visited this hostel and the upgrade to the kitchen was impressive. It was a fantastic hostel for our family get together; we really enjoyed the cosy lounge. Definitely recommend it for private hire!David

Our new favourite Hostelling Scotland hostel! We used the Hostel as a Rent-a-Hostel with two families (total 10 persons). On arrival we received an excellent welcome from Thomas, the Hostel manager, who made us feel safe and reassured. The bedrooms are really comfortable and there is enough bathrooms too. With the open plan living and cosy quiet lounge, this hostel just ticks all the boxes for a staycation in a beautiful location.SMackenzie

Haven't stayed in a hostel for 25 years and despite trepidation, was a great experience. Very reasonable and great check in staff. The people bit made all the difference. Knowledgable and chatty, while giving you space. I'll be back. Alan.Alan Mc

Stayed her a few times, must book in advance because it gets full very quickly. Perfect base to explore the hills or surrounding areas by car. Very good pub/restaurant 1.6km down the road with good food at very good prices. Hostel is very clean, water in showers are warm, beds are comfy and kitchen is very well stocked.JohanM

A great hostel with a modernised interior and a modern spacious self-catering kitchen. Private room not en-suite but that is fairly normal in older converted buildings. On a quiet side road close to the pass of Glencoe, with plenty of parking.Andy Chapman

Excellent location to Glencoe and Glen Etive as well as Fort William (Aonoch Eagach actually starts/finishes behind hostel). Spacious hostel - good showers and drying room. Friendly staff. Overall very good value for money. Co-op just a few miles away in Ballachuish and Clachaig Inn an excellent pub one mile away.Ryan

This is my my first experience staying in a hostel accommodation. 2 things that stand out. 1) Location and facilities in the hostel (esp the shared kitchen)2) Very friendly staff and other guests with whom one gets to interact with. We may not get this experience in any other hotel stayArun
