About About this youth hostel ....

Set in one of Scotland’s most spectacular and historic glens, this alpine-style hostel is a popular base for walkers and climbers of all abilities and offers a great range of accommodation from comfortable private rooms to shared dorms and a glamping pod that sits in the hostel grounds and comfortably sleeps two adults in a double bed with en-suite shower and toilet along with a fridge and microwave. It even has a small porch area to relax and enjoy the view.

WiFi is free for all guests and other facilities include: a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, spacious dining room, a small, cosy lounge, private lockers and one of the best drying rooms in the Scottish Highlands! Basic provisions, confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception. The hostel also offers on-site parking and a secure bike store.

Glencoe is a dog-friendly ‘WoofHostel’. If you would like to book yourself and your dog into the hostel, please phone the hostel direct on +44 (0) 1855 811 219 to check availability. There is a small charge of £7.50 per night for your dog when staying in our hostels.

‘Wee Breakfast’ and 'Heat it and eat it' evening meals available (please remember to pre-book your breakfast). 

The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.

From avid mountaineers to more leisurely strollers there will be a walk for you in the famous Pass of Glencoe. 

Discover the Lost Valley or tackle Britain’s finest ridge walk, the Aonach Eagach, before relaxing and planning your next adventure at the Clachaig Inn, a ten minute walk from the hostel.

If it's activity sports you're after, there's mountain biking and winter sports in Glencoe and the nearby Kinlochleven Climbing Centre will help top up your adrenaline needs!

For a more relaxing afternoon, the National Trust Visitor Centre is great way to spend a few hours.
