The hostel has a great warden, pleasant dormitory rooms, and good facilities. It also has an excellent location. Great value for money if you are in a shared room, as with all the Sottish hostels.Jeffrey

Glencoe was one of our stops while walking the West Highland Way. It was so easy to pick up the bus from the Glencoe ski resort to the village - breath taking scenery that we would have missed if stopped at Kingshouse. The bus back the next morning was suitably timed and didn't affect our walking. The hostel was immaculately clean with lovely showers and a comfortable room. Excellent kitchen facilities. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.Angela

We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 10 and 12. It was really easy to settle in and the kids got used to hostelling life straight away. A lovely little hostel to introduce them to that way of travelling. We arrived in Glencoe by bus and the walk is only a mile and a half but that was quite a trek with backpacks for the kids. We had managed to get an earlier bus which I was glad about as it would have been a dark walk any later. I'd recommend aiming to get there by 5 if walking with kidsBecs

Great to be returning here after around 3 years. Kitchen is much improved (really good facilities), staff friendly and at £16 per night great value. The new furniture in the lounge is classy but practical and I think the decision not to have a tv is still a good one (wifi works fine).Angus Brown

Another excellent stay at Glencoe SYHA. This remains my favourite Hostel anywhere in Scotland. The atmosphere is the best to be found anywhere with an enduring mountaineering feeling evident throughout all communal areas. Staff are excellent as always and late-evening story-swapping with both Thomas and Catherine were great! Remains the best drying room to be found in the entire country too! See you again soon!John Brogan

Staying in the camping pod was a very special experience. Great size pod, stunning views, felt very private and secluded yet close to the youth hostel for kitchen facilities. Electric heater was essential in November- it does take a while to heat the pod. Thank you for a great stay.Sara
