About About this youth hostel
Set amidst stunning mountains, at the halfway point on the West Highland Way, Crianlarich Youth Hostel is a great base for outdoor enthusiasts and for exploring the northern area of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
This warm and welcoming hostel offers a wide range of private rooms and shared dorms, two of which are en-suite. WiFi is free for all guests and other facilities include: male and female washrooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, comfortable lounge with TV, drying room and a secure bike store. Basic provisions, confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception.
There are good bus and rail links as well as free onsite parking.
Crainlarich is a dog-friendly hostel. If you would like to book yourself and your dog into the hostel, please phone the hostel direct on +44 (0) 1838 300 260 to check availability. There is a small charge of £7.50 per night for your dog when staying in our hostels.
‘Wee Breakfast’ and 'Heat it and eat it' evening meals available (please remember to pre-book your breakfast).
The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.

Somehow I did not expect that much of crianlarich - but in the end it was the best hostel we stayed in during our holiday..the staff, the rooms, the kitchen, the atmosphere ..it was all great.BECKY

I enjoyed the stay very much. Located in the middle of Nature, the stay was very relaxing. Crianlarich is good conected by train and bus so there are many posibilitys To-Do. In Addition the Atmosphere in the Hostel were good and the hostelstaff friendly and helpful :)Stefanie T.

The kitchen is smaller than other ones we've been in but it still was perfectly ok and nicely equipped.I just wish there wasn't a TV in the lounge so that the children can play board games instead of watching TV but I know it's a very personal preference...Sylvie
