29/04/22First time in this youth hostel and it was great! Really friendly staff who went the extra mile - special mention for Neil! Comfy bed, efficient drying room, cosy lounge. Found the plunge pools at the River Fillan and had a dip as well as climbing a couple of Munros. Perfect wee break
26/04/22A well-provided hostel in a convenient location for the hills and the West Highland Way. The staff here are very efficient, the hostel warm and cosy and the self-catering kitchen modern and bright.
24/04/22Fantastic stay with a very warm welcome. Lovely walks nearby.
21/04/22Excellent hostel experience at crianlarich, whilst walking the west highland way. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, with one of the staff members even taking our baggage to our room for us as this had arrived before us. The hostel was spotlessly clean and toilet/showers were great. The breakfast was just what we needed and overall I would highly recommend this hostel. The lounge area was also very comfy and relaxing.
18/04/22A great hostel with a warm welcome. The staff were really helpful, the hostel was very clean throughout & well run. The room was a good size for 4 adults. Great location for travelling from south west England to the western isles. The breakfast looked great, although we opted for the Crianlarich railway station cafe, which is favorite.
15/04/22Great hostel, clean, dog friendly, nice short little walk out the back, good facilities at the hostel, plus shop and train station close and run by very friendly and helpful staff.
10/04/22Efficient, friendly and helpful staff really helped us relax into our stay. A warm welcome and excellent packed lunches for walking! Good spacious room and hot water on tap. We really liked the big comfy sofas in the lounge - a real bonus and lovely room. Great location for rail station (with excellent tearoom, though looked uninviting at first) and close to the loop linking with the West Highland Way.
01/04/22I really enjoyed my stay at Crianlarich. Relaxed and friendly hostel in a fantastic location. Great value accommodation.
29/03/22Fantastic location, with views of mountains from every room and immediate access to the natural environment. Very friendly and helpful team. The kitchen is well equipped though very small for the number of people using it - we quickly learned a few kitchen dance moves! I plan to go back to the Crianlarich Hostel. Thank you.
29/11/21We booked the hostel for sole use and were delighted with the hostel once again. David the warden was very helpful and welcoming on arrival. All rooms and public areas very clean. Facilities in the hostel were excellent, particularly the use of both kitchens and storage/ Fridge / freezer space. One very small detail, could do with some more wine glasses!.
01/11/21We had a great stay at this cosy hostel. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and modern, and our room was very spacious. We travelled with our children who loved the place too!
01/11/21A clean and comfortable hostel with good drying facilities. Martin, our host, was very friendly and most welcoming.
31/10/21Crianlarich hostel is one of the best hostels we have stayed in. David the warden was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and informative. The bunk room - a six bedded bunk booked for four of us - and the bedding were immaculately clean, the lounge relaxing and warm. I have nothing negative to say about this hostel at all.
31/10/21Great location and really helpful staff. Handy shop next door and loads of hills on your doorstep. Highly recommended.
27/10/21I was warmly welcomed by Martin on arrival, who ensured I had everything I needed. The pizza was delicious and it was lovely to be able to sit by the fire. Free tea and coffee was a bonus too.
26/10/21Our stay at Crianlarich exceeded our expectations. The hostel was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The drying room is very useful. Thank you.
11/10/21Even with Covid restrictions in place the staff made every effort to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Will definitely visit again soon
24/09/21Great location for the West Highland Way. Service from the staff member on the front desk was great. We booked a twin room and it was much larger than expected (actually had three single beds) and very comfortable. Quiet location.
19/09/21A great experience, the staff were very welcoming and even phoned to make sure we were ok (we were running late).
19/09/21Friendly welcome. Great room fairly large. Nice comfy beds. Takes dogs and provides dog bowl and dog biscuits which is a nice touch. Extremely clean room and all other areas spotless too. Showers very good. Free tea and coffee. I highly rate this hostel and would recommend it.
18/09/21Good up to date facilities.
