I checked in from the West Highland Way and was glad to stay the night. The staff were really very friendly and checked several time if there was any way for me to stay for another night. Which sadly there wasn't. I self catered because of allergies so I can't say anything about the breakfast.Sandra Kasler

First time in this youth hostel and it was great! Really friendly staff who went the extra mile - special mention for Neil! Comfy bed, efficient drying room, cosy lounge. Found the plunge pools at the River Fillan and had a dip as well as climbing a couple of Munros. Perfect wee breakFiona Ewen

Excellent hostel experience at crianlarich, whilst walking the west highland way. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, with one of the staff members even taking our baggage to our room for us as this had arrived before us. The hostel was spotlessly clean and toilet/showers were great. The breakfast was just what we needed and overall I would highly recommend this hostel. The lounge area was also very comfy and relaxing.MillieB

A great hostel with a warm welcome. The staff were really helpful, the hostel was very clean throughout & well run. The room was a good size for 4 adults. Great location for travelling from south west England to the western isles. The breakfast looked great, although we opted for the Crianlarich railway station cafe, which is favorite.Su

Efficient, friendly and helpful staff really helped us relax into our stay. A warm welcome and excellent packed lunches for walking! Good spacious room and hot water on tap. We really liked the big comfy sofas in the lounge - a real bonus and lovely room. Great location for rail station (with excellent tearoom, though looked uninviting at first) and close to the loop linking with the West Highland Way.Rachel-Clare

Fantastic location, with views of mountains from every room and immediate access to the natural environment. Very friendly and helpful team. The kitchen is well equipped though very small for the number of people using it - we quickly learned a few kitchen dance moves! I plan to go back to the Crianlarich Hostel. Thank you.Len Seal

We booked the hostel for sole use and were delighted with the hostel once again. David the warden was very helpful and welcoming on arrival. All rooms and public areas very clean. Facilities in the hostel were excellent, particularly the use of both kitchens and storage/ Fridge / freezer space. One very small detail, could do with some more wine glasses!.No

Crianlarich hostel is one of the best hostels we have stayed in. David the warden was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and informative. The bunk room - a six bedded bunk booked for four of us - and the bedding were immaculately clean, the lounge relaxing and warm. I have nothing negative to say about this hostel at all.David Buckley
