West Highland Way
West Highland Way
The West Highland Way is a 96 miles (154km) stretch that starts off in the town of Milngavie and finishes off in Fort William. On the route, you will take in a great variety of some of Scotland's majestic scenery.
We would recommend that you start off the route at Milngavie as the route does become more demanding the further north you go. The West Highland Way is a challenging route and therefore you need a place to take a break, refuel and restart the journey the next day.
Hostelling Scotland has four youth hostels and two affiliate hostel along the route to help you rest those weary legs.
