VisitScotland's Regional Leadership Director Chris Taylor paid a visit to Glen Nevis Youth Hostel last week to present the award to Lochaber Group Manager Caroline Knox.

Joy for youth hostel after top ratings
A youth hostel at the foot of the UK's highest mountain is celebrating after being given five-star status by the national tourism organisation.
Chris Taylor of VisitScotland said: "It is testament to all the hard work by Hostelling Scotland and its team over the years - particularly recently with its refurbishment - to bring it up to such a high level."
Graham Sheach, Marketing Manager for Hostelling Scotland, added: "We're delighted to have achieved our five star rating. The award reflects the hard work and commitment shown by everyone involved in the redevelopment of the youth hostel. The refurbishment of Glen Nevis represents the start of a new era of hostelling in Scotland."
