About About this hostel

Located just off the back road this hostel enjoys a quiet, private location while still being close to the nearby town of Peebles. The area is well set up for those who love the outdoors with Glentress Forest a 5 minute drive away and a wealth of walking and cycling trails in every direction. Kailzie Estate has its own fisheries and 2 mile stretch of the River Tweed.

The lodge offers a high standard of accommodation across two floors, with 6 bedrooms offering a mix of single beds and bunk beds and has generous living space and a well equipped kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms on the ground floor with 2 sharing a large accessible bathroom. All bed linen and towels are provided. Catering can be provided by enquiring when you book. For cyclists, there are 4 dedicated fully equipped bike washing stations, a maintenance area including stands and e-bike charging facilities in the digitally locked secure CCTV monitored bike store.
