There's lots to do in the surrounding area.
For hill walkers there are 43 Munros within an hour's drive and the hostel sits at the foot of one of them. For those simply looking to explore the countryside there are 87km of beautiful walks and bike routes in the Crieff-Comrie paths network. Local landmarks include 'The Deil’s Cauldron' waterfall with an optional ascent to the viewpoint of Melville Monument.
The Famous Grouse Experience offers distillery tours and tasting experiences for the grown-ups and the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is great fun for all the family.
