Hostelling Scotland are running a final project in celebration of the Year of Young People 2018 to support young people to explore and experience Scotland. The Festive Fun Project offers young people aged 16 to 25 in Scotland the chance to stay in a Youth Hostel, explore the Winter Festivals and see the Christmas Lights in Oban, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Edinburgh!

What's included?

  • 1 nights’ accommodation and breakfast, during the winter festivals in Oban, Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow. (You can also bring 1 guest if you wish to). A limited number of two night stays are also available. 
  • Successful applicants will also receive one year of free membership with Hostelling Scotland.

  • Oban Youth Hostel staying overnight Sat 17th November
  • Oban Youth Hostel staying overnight Sat 24th November
  • Edinburgh Youth Hostel staying Sat 8th December
  • Edinburgh Youth Hostel: staying Sat 15th December
  • Glasgow Youth Hostel staying Sat 8th December
  • Glasgow Youth Hostel: staying Sat 15th December
  • Aberdeen Youth Hostel: staying Sat 8th December
  • Aberdeen Youth Hostel: staying Sat 15th December

Criteria?

  • You need to be willing to pay a £5 non-refundable fee to confirm your place, if you are offered one.
  • You need to arrange your own travel to the Youth Hostel.
  • You need to be aged 16 to 25 years
  • You need to be living in Scotland
  • We would like you to share a picture from your trip with us, by social media or any other way that you choose.
