Annual General Meeting 2020

Notice had previously been given for the 2020 Annual General Meeting to be held at Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel on Saturday 13th June 2020 starting at 9.30 am.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the impact on our organisation and subsequent mandatory restrictions to travel and social distancing, it has become necessary for us to change the date and format of our 2020 AGM.

Our Articles of Association require us to ensure that not more than 15 months elapse between one annual general meeting and the next. Therefore, this year’s AGM will be held at 9.30am on Saturday 5th September 2020 at Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel but in these exceptional circumstances it will not be possible for members to attend in person.

The AGM will now take the form of a Proxy meeting, with the Chair being the only in person attendee.

Your support remains very important to us and we would encourage you to continue to take part in the AGM by completing the proxy form which can be accessed through the link below. In line with our Articles, please complete this form no later than 9.30 am on Thursday 3rd September 2020. This will help ensure that the meeting is quorate.

Whilst the Board of Trustees understands that the postponement and nature of the AGM in September will be disappointing, we believe that this is the correct course of action to protect the health and safety of our members and employees in these exceptional times.
